Disneyland...

Grabe! This the second time that i am going to disneyland... I am still excited... Thanks Mark for picking up the tab for everything... Parang Daddy ko nga siya for a day... Halos wala akong ginastos... Hahahahahhaha! But it was another oppurtunity for Mark and I to catch up with life... Grabe, we had dinner na nga at 10PM and ended at almost 1AM... sobrang dal-dal namin... Anyway, i will just let the pics tell you the story...

Walking the straight and narrow path (Part Deux)

Good news! I already got my SIG-552 yesterday... whew! I have been waiting for this gun to arrive for almost 3 days now... At long last and i can play with her during our game at the Airsoft Playground...

By the way, here she is...

Her official name is "MARYE"... For those who know Marye, you will say that this gun is really made for her... Small, spunky and competitive... This gun is made for you Marye... :)

We made it to the playground in record time and played there until 12AM... Grabe! My legs and body were tired... We played to our hearts content... Then Mark called me... Susunduin daw niya ako ng 3AM para pumunta ng Disneyland! WAAAAH!

Me and Owen... The wonder twins!

Spent the whole afternoon YMing my good friend OWEN... We chatted away for almost an hour... Talking about everything... Everything, no detail left... talking about my love-life or lack thereof... Also, his blossoming love-life... Him lecturing me about past mistakes and reminding me that I am repeating the same thing all over again... He wishing me that I again start with a clean slate... To think for myself and not for anybody else, love or no love attached...

I miss talking to Owen face to face... He keeps me grounded... He keeps me sane... I only wish that he is with me here in the states experiencing the same thing I am experiencing and I know that he is also wishing that I was back in the Philippines experiencing the same thing he is experienceing now... I miss you Owen... 'till our next chat session... see you hopefully next year in the Philippines... or better here in LAX...

Walking the "straight" and narrow...

Haay... Sorry to say guys but I am now waling the "straight" and narrow path... if you can't get this then get a new radar... Hehehehehe!

Like what is said in the last 2 entries of my blog, i am now enjoying a new sport... Airsoft Electric guns... Aside from that I am also enjoying my baseball batting cages sessions... hehehehehehehe!

going back to AEG... this sport rocks... although at first i cannot understand it, when you are already there shooting people, you would get a great adrenaline rush... This is one exciting sport...

by the way, here is my current baby...

Too bad that on Monday i will be exchanging her for a SIG-552... i was just disappointed on her accuracy... too bad... i really wanted this baby... Anyway, i just hope that the SIG-552 would not disappoint me too much... hehehehehe! Comments guys?

Mission Accomplished! Best friend Mark FOUND!!!

August 5 - This is the day that I am meeting my long lost friend MARK! Actually, he was the one who found me... THROUGH FRIENDSTER! Grabe! I am really thanking friendster that my friend found me... We started the day at 6AM leaving Long Beach... I am just tagging along my housemate Dylan... he will be driving from Long beach to his hometown in Union City... Since Union City is near San Jose i decided to join him in this little road trip... Again, GRABE! It was a six-hour drive... We had to stop 3 times since i needed my yosi break... hehehehehe! But man, those six hours inside the car was all worth it... When i saw Mark, it was so excited. It was like seeing your long lost brother or your twin that got separated at birth... We actually had to postpone the plans for the whole day since we actually talked the whole day... filling up the 8 year gap that we have not seen each other... We shared both our trials and triumphs for the past 8 years... our problems both big and small... We then vowed to each other to support one another... It was a tiring day bit seeing Mark again made it all go away...

August 6 - Today was a gimmick day for us... we went to SFO (San Francisco to those who ask) and it was beautiful (although NYC is still the best city to beat)... We were able to go to haight and Ashbury and was able to sample the steep roads of SFO... One thing that i was not able to see was Lombard road... i really wanted to see that but because of time constraints we were not able to see that... It was time to go home and at around 5PM we left Union City... it was another grueling 6 hour trip back... whew... time to rest... enjoy the pics..

Bring me to life! (A.K.A. My blog resurrected... Updates galore!)

WOW! It has been almost a year since I last updated my blog… I sooo missed sharing my life with you guys… Anyway, here's a quick update on how's my life been since last year…

July - November 2005 - I have been officially confirmed as a supervisor for our travel account… I am so psyched! Worked as hard as hell to provide quality work and somehow go up the ladder again… so many triumphs and disappointments but I still weathered them all… You all know the story and I do not need to expound on it… J

December 2005 - Got a very special mail from the INS (or DHS or whatever… they kept on changing their name and it is hard to keep track…) stating that I already have my approval and I need to undergo my medical and embassy interview. As I was reading that letter it was all so surreal… is this really happening or is this a prank or bad joke from someone… My medical schedule arrived and I know for sure that this was not a joke… Again, I do not need to specify what went on the medical, let's just say that I had the clean bill of health from them… Christmas and new year passed and it worried me for this might possibly be the last time that I will be spending both holidays in the Philippines…

January 2006 - New year came and brought in a new sense of hope but also at the same time a sense of hesitation for my embassy interview was near… it was on the 6^th day of January that I had my interview… I waited outside the embassy for more than two hours… I arrived there at 4AM and it was soo damn cold… At around 6 AM, we were all allowed to go inside the embassy, but my 6:30AM schedule was just a "suggested" time for interview… I waited an additional 4 hours more before they could accommodate me… when the interview came, the consul just asked a few personal questions and two medical related questions… the first one was what is hypertension and the second one was differentiate OT and PT… WHAT! My visa was dependent on these questions… what? Are we having another revalida… sorry, but I did not get a memo to review things I learned from my college days… fortunately, I was able to answer them with flying colors… siyempre with the same flair that I always have in answering questions… hehehehehehe! After that was a long two weeks wait to know if I will or will not get my visa… I HATE WAITING… On January 18 I received a text message saying congratulations, my visa will be delivered! Fear, excitement, pride and confusion were the emotions I felt simultaneously as I read that text message… that simple message really rocked my world and turned it upside down… in a blink I resigned from work, bought my ticket and on February 11, 2006, I left the Philippines.

February 2006 - Had my despedida… only a few hours in the Philippines… Saturday morning before my flight, Ruy and Liv passed by my house to wish me a safe trip… before they left, Ruy handed me a box… I immediately opened up the box and saw a pink Parker ball pen… It has an engraving of "BESTMAN" on it… this one really tugged a string in my heart… Ruy has been my close friend for ages and I am sure as the sky is blue not to miss his wedding… Saturday evening, the time of my flight, said my tearful goodbyes to my family and friends… sitting inside the airplane, anxiously waiting for take-off, then an announcement… MY FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED!!! I really could not believe it… Me! A former online travel agent! Anyway, my CCD instincts immediately kicked in… I demanded no less than my choice of hotel and transport… and I got what I want.. I was billeted for the night at the Dusit hotel with my on chauffeured car… the other passengers were herded like cows in other hotels by a bus… great… still have some time to meet with friends… Gigo and Marye went to my hotel bringing 2 bottles of San Mig light… a little despedida party (part 2) emerged… nice to catch up with friends… then morning came and I needed to leave for the states… Goodbye Philippines… Hello USA! To summarize how my life here in the states, here is a little slide show…

That's what's running through my head the whole day today... Hehehehehe! Anyway, received a peculiar email from one of the website clubs i joined... it was a free astrological reading... and you know what's freaky... it almost described MY PERSONALITY to the letter... well, you better be the judge.
